Speakers
Dr. Peter Matthews, CBE, brings over 60 years of expertise in water management, spanning technical operations, senior leadership roles, and environmental policy. From his early career in water utilities to serving on the boards of the Environment Agency and Natural Resources Wales, Dr. Matthews has been a driving force in shaping the UK’s approach to water conservation and regulation.
Mark Lloyd, Chief Executive of The Rivers Trust, has dedicated his career to river conservation and environmental management. With a background in Geography and a Master’s in Environmental Water Management, he founded Thames21 and has led multiple conservation organisations, now overseeing 67 rivers trusts across the UK and Ireland in their mission to restore and protect natural waterways.
