Baxi announces the arrival of the new Heatrae Sadia Supreme Evo, its most energy-efficient instant hot water dispenser ever, designed for use in high demand commercial applications. Building on the tried-and-tested technology of the Heatrae Sadia Supreme, the new premium Supreme Evo water boiler unit boasts innovative new features for maximum taste benefits, low running costs and straightforward quality operation.
Supreme Evo is the first instant hot water dispenser to benefit from Heatrae Sadia’s space-saving, filter-inside design, a one-touch digital dial and a new ‘learning’ thermostat. The result is great tasting filtered hot water, enhanced control, and faster installation, commissioning, and servicing.
Equipped with smart Intelliboil™ Plus technology to monitor usage patterns, the Supreme Evo offers superior energy management for building operators. This feature ensures the water is brought on to boil to match user demand while intelligently reducing the temperature by 10°C after an hour of inactivity to optimise efficient energy usage. Alternatively, heating times can be preselected using the in-built seven-day programmer, helping to reduce energy consumption.
Taste, reduced installation time and low maintenance operation have been addressed with the inclusion of a built-in filter that ensures great tasting drinking water while protecting against limescale and sediment build up. Users have the option to select variable drinking water temperatures, including a coffee-specific setting, at the push of a button to match preference. A key benefit of the in-built filter is reduced installation time. The installer no longer needs to manage connection of the filter in the incoming mains and find the space to do so.
The new Supreme Evo is available in three capacities – 2.5, 5 and 7.5 litres – making it the perfect choice for a range of high user new build and retrofit commercial sites. Heated by a 2.5 kW heating element, it has some of the fastest reheat times on the market. This helps to manage peak demand and reduces risk of running out of boiler water. Capable of delivering high volumes of hot water, the new Supreme Evo can fill from 150 up to 180 cups of hot water, one after the other, before the supply is depleted. The rapid boiling cycle continues to heat the replenished volume to boiling temperature, ready for the next use.
When selected to replace the Heatrae Sadia Supreme, retrofittable brackets enable the original fixing points to be used for simpler, rapid installation and minimal disruption.
The Supreme Evo is designed and manufactured in the UK for superior quality and reduced carbon footprint. It comes with CIBSE Technical Memorandum 65 (TM65) Embodied carbon in building services calculation documents for easy evaluation when reporting the embodied carbon of the building service.
James Matthews, Director of Building Solutions, said:
“We’re delighted to introduce our supremely efficient Supreme Evo! With energy management an ever-important focus for building operators, the impressive new ‘learning’ thermostat in our smart Supreme Evo ensures the perfect flexible solution to highly efficient and rapid hot drinking water.
“Along with energy efficiency, we believe taste will increasingly be a factor when selecting hot water dispensers. A survey we conducted recently revealed that for more than three-quarters (78%) of the participating office workers, the taste of hot drinks they consume at the office is important to them.
“Our UK manufactured Supreme Evo meets all these requirements and more, from fantastic tasting water and outstanding energy efficiency to easy installation and low maintenance operation, putting ticks in all the right boxes!”
