HIP Learner of the Year 2025 - Deadline Fast Approaching!

Level 2 and 3 learners only have until midnight this Friday, 29th November, to secure a spot in this prestigious event, now in its 16th year. The competition represents a unique opportunity for the next generation of plumbers to showcase their skills, boost their confidence, and win amazing prizes.

Contestants will compete in six regional heats across England and Wales, starting in January, leading to the grand finale. The competition's Head Judge, Jerry Whiteley from the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE), will assess the competitors on various practical tasks.

The competition is supported by industry giants, including OB1 (Headline Sponsor), Plumb Centre, Milwaukee, Viessmann, Aalberts IPS, CORGI Services, EAL, Kingspan, Mark Vitow Ltd, Stelrad, Triton Showers, WaterSafe, Wilo, Fix Radio, Snickers Workwear, Talon, The Worshipful Company of Plumbers, Yorkshire Copper Tube, and the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE).

The Meet the Manufacturer series will run alongside the HIP Learner of the Year, offering manufacturers an opportunity to network with and update lecturers on the latest industry and product innovations.
