Mira Showers, the leading shower manufacturer, has launched the Mira Activate with ColdBoost™, a new, UK-first digital shower designed to help installers bring the benefits of cold-water immersion directly, and safely, into their customers’ homes.

The market-leading innovation enables installers to offer a seamless and convenient cold water therapy solution to homeowners, safely, and without the need for additional appliances or modifications. 

Cold water therapy, which involves exposing the body to cool temperatures to support with blood circulation, inflammation and promote skin and hair health, has grown in popularity over recent years; in fact, new research shows that over 50% of consumers incorporate cold showers into their washing routines*. Now, the Mira Activate with ColdBoost™ makes it easier, and safer, than ever for health-conscious customers to access these benefits. 

The Mira Activate with ColdBoost™ features an intelligent temperature control system that gradually reduces the water temperature and sustains it between 12-15°C. The shower offers four preset modes tailored for different comfort levels: 

• Beginner mode includes a gradual decline of 45 seconds followed by a 15-second cold burst for a total duration of one minute. 
• Intermediate mode includes a 20-second gradual decline and a 40-second cold burst for a total of one minute. 
• Advanced mode offers a 10-second gradual decline and a 90-second cold burst for a total duration of one minute and 40 seconds.
• Expert mode includes a 10-second gradual decline and a 180-second cold burst for a total of three minutes and 10 seconds. 

This guided approach ensures a safe and controlled cold-water experience, making it accessible to both newcomers and experienced users.
