Installer Trades RGB

In Plumbers, Heating Engineers

  • InstallerTRADES is an exciting new feature for the 2024 show, with tools, workwear and new products in the spotlight
  • Featuring demos of power tools and hand tools, plus a runway showcasing workwear from the top brands
  • InstallerSHOW takes place at NEC Birmingham from 25-27 June 2024

InstallerSHOW is delighted to announce that it will be offering a dedicated tools and workwear zone, InstallerTRADES, designed to give visitors the chance to see the latest products in action – and, crucially, hear from the tradespeople trying them out live at the show.

Aimed at everyone working in the trades, from heating engineers and renewables installers to electricians and general builders, InstallerTRADES will feature some of social media’s best known tradespeople getting hands-on with new products from top brands. Confirmed stars so far include Kimmy The Sparks and Carl Ladd, plumbing and heating engineer, known as @gasladd on Instagram.

There will also be a runway show, with tradespeople modeling a range of workwear designed to look great while working hard. Ahead of the show, InstallerTRADES will be running a fun social media casting for the stars of the runway, who will appear alongside famous faces from Instagram and TikTok.

InstallerSHOW’s Lucy Dixon, who runs the TradesTalk weekly chat for the building trades on X – formerly known as Twitter – said: “InstallerSHOW is already a bustling event and InstallerTRADES is yet another must-see feature for the visitors.. It will be one of the busiest areas for the 2024 show, with a packed programme of demos, runway shows and a few giveaways thrown in for good measure. We’re excited to reveal more of the tradespeople we’re working with for this – do sign up for the InstallerSHOW newsletter and keep your eyes peeled for updates.”

We’ll be releasing more information about InstallerTRADES in the weeks to come, which will include the merchants, brands and manufacturers that are on board, as well as who you can expect to see on stage.

Tools and workwear companies, as well as merchants, already signed up for InstallerSHOW 2024 include Alpha Tools, CEF, City Plumbing, Eibenstock, Knipex, Makita, Milwaukee, Nerrad Tools, PHC Parts, REMS, Ridgid, Rothenberger, Travis Perkins, Williams and Wolseley.
